Multitone attends Health & Safety 09 at Sandown Park (Esher, 24 & 25 Feb)
Multitone will be exhibiting EkoTek, the award winning lone worker solution at Health & Safety 09, which takes place at Sandown Park on the 24th & 25th February 2009.
With the UK’s increasing legislation surrounding health and safety at work, Multitone developed EkoTek as a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for staff protection.
EkoTek:
• provides accurate location information in the event of an emergency, reducing the risk of a worker being left unaided
• is easy to install, causing minimal disruption
• complies with health and safety legislation
• is fully configurable to meet a wide range of needs across a variety of industry sectors
• provides staff with a means by which they can easily call for assistance and as the system is two-way, users are reassured quickly that assistance is on its way
• maintains safety, as the man-down alarm requires the users to acknowledge an automatically generated call every 10-30 minutes signalling the user is well
• is reliable, as all devices are continuously monitored for status and battery levels
• automatically forms a wireless network using fixed location devices, no matter what the physical layout, including both indoor and outdoor areas, such as car parks or walkways. Accurate location information means that users can be found quickly and can reduce the risk of any incident escalating
