Multitone appoints new CEO
Integrated messaging company Multitone Electronics, which specialises in life critical communication infrastructure deployment, has announced the exciting new appointment of Ed Paterson as CEO since 1st January 2020. Ed has taken over from Stephen Gentry who has made the decision to retire.
Multitone has around 200 employees worldwide, with manufacturing and logistics operations in the UK and Malaysia, and sales and service presence throughout EMEA, APAC, the Americas and Australasia.
Chairman Louis Liu commented on the company’s outgoing CEO, “Stephen Gentry has shown professional commitment and dedication for over 31 years, the last 16 of which as CEO. During this time, Multitone has, under his leadership, gone through a period of significant change and sustained profitability, and he leaves the company in a strong position.”
New CEO Ed Paterson brings a detailed understanding of Multitone through 19 years’ experience working throughout the business. His background in IT will be valuable as the company introduces the ever-changing new technologies that its customers need. Further enriching Multitone’s leadership, Stephen Gentry will retain his connection with the company, acting on the company’s advisory board.
