Station-end
automation
Station end equipment and software which executes key automations, like opening doors & printing out information, when a call-out is received, helping ensure rapid deployment.
Appear Crew app
for critical alerting
Our Appear Crew app supplements pagers by providing an alternative medium for critical messaging, helping ensure the quickest, most complete response to each call-out.
Major incident
communications
Major emergencies may require more personnel than are usually available. With our major incident solution, you can contact all your staff via multiple contact methods, and keep track their responses.

Who we work with
Critical communications for mobilisation
Multitone work with fire & rescue services throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, providing the alerters which bring retained firefighters to the station whenever they're needed. In these circumstances, it's vital that firefighters receive the message quickly and reliably, and paging remains the best technology for this - providing a method of communication separate from mobile networks and wired internet which are vulnerable to technical problems, poor coverage and high traffic.
As part of this, Multitone offer both the alerters themselves in several models to best meet each customer's needs, the technology to transmit the alerter call from the station itself, and small signal repeaters which can be installed in other buildings to increase transmitter range and improve coverage in weak spots. We are also able to link nearby fire station transmitters for call repeats, and provide a smartphone app, Appear Crew, to supplement alerters for even greater reliability.
Multitone also provide pagers and supporting infrastructure for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, operating throughout the UK & ROI on coastal and inland waters: ensuring their volunteer crews are out on the water as quickly as possible when help's needed. Our critical communications solutions are suitable for any emergency or rescue service.

Station-end automation
Multitone's technology doesn't just send out an alerter call when the message comes in from control. It also executes a number of automations to ensure that fire crews are able to get in their vehicles and hit the road as quickly as possible. This can include opening doors, sounding alarms, putting information onto screens and more. Our FireCoder can be found in stations throughout the UK.
With extensive experience working with fire & rescue services throughout the British Isles and the RNLI, you can trust in Multitone's integration and automation technology.
